It doesn’t matter if I is going to a dog day out, a puppy party, catching up with friends or something big like da Dog Lovers Show there are few things I do to get ready. BTW I is very excited to be at the Insta-Pooch stage at da Sydney Dog Lovers Show in 2022.

Top tips to prepare for a big event like da Dog Lovers Show!
We all has big events in our puppy lives where da human drags us around and shows us off or we just get to has some fun! Well before deese big events there are some things to make sure you is has da best time and look your best!
Lock it in da calendar
You want to make sure da human has your event scheduled in da calender. You don’t want to miss da event and if it’s not human related who knows if da human will remember.
Pick an outfit
You gots to ensure you are looking good no matter what dis event is. You need to pick out da pawfect lead, collar, harness, bowtie or other accessories. If it’s a really big event you may even want to go all out and dress up big! I is went full furbulous when mummy, nanna and I went to da Grounds Elton John installation. I had to make sure I is matched da furbulousness of da man, da myth, da legend of Elton John!
I is already gots my outfit ready for da Dog Lovers Show ready. I is getting personalised bandana and sailor bow made by my furbulous Aunt Jamie, mum to Myko and Mochi and owner of XOXOMyko, go check dem out!
Pack your things
No matter where we go as pups there are some essential items we always need with us. On da days leading up to da event you need to pack your bag with poop bags, some water and a bowl plus da most important thing…treats! You may even need a few other things like a coat in case it rains or I is always like to has my IndieBoho travel mat to sit on.
If you is going to a pawty ensure you has da birthday pups present ready and sign da card with your paw. For larger events where you may be able to spread da love maybe get some gifts like business cards or stickers to give to people and peppers who want to stay in touch. For da Dog Lovers Show I is has some business cards to give my adoring fans and some stickers to help them find me and my shop full of Wally merch!
Get your glam team sorted
You wanna be looking your best so ensure you is get da good groom and have your furs looking their best. You want your furs cut, nails trimmed and everything looking da best it can be! Then den da day of da event you is has a bath to finish off looking and smelling your best…even if you roll in mud later.Â
Get your beauty rest
Before da big day ensure you gets plenty of beauty rest dis includes da night before and naps wherever you can take dem. I is lucky cause I gets to snooze in da car whenever we goes somewhere right next to mummy. Getting enough beauty sleep will mean you has all da energy to have a blast at your event especially something big like da Dog Lovers Show.
Get your stuff, get in your ride and GO GO GO!
Now it’s da day of da event all you need to do is get all da stuff you is prepared earlier together and get going! Now you is need to make sure da human don’t forget da impawtent things like da presents, poop bags and treats.
