Hi I’m Wally!
I am a very spoiled Shih Tzu cross Silky Terrier who is living it up and loving life on Sydney’s Northern Beaches with my super pawesome mumma Jodie.

But back to me! Cause I is the most important puppy in da world…well I think so anyway. I is has lots of supaw pawesome adventures with my mummy that we going to share on da blog.
My mummy got me on December 7th 2015, I was only 3 months old and a little fluff ball! She is been looking for a pupper for a little while and tried to get one from a rescue but that didn’t work out. She then saw me on a website for a RSPCA approved pet store (she always feels like she has to note it was RSPCA approved) on da Central Coast and fell in love!
She traveled up to Tuggerah to meet me in person & saw me fell more in love. Da lady in da shop asked if she wanted to hold me and she say she was here to buy me! Da lady was surprised but mummy says she saw me online and feel in love at first sight.
I was such a little pupper mummy was able to carry me out of the shop curled up in her arms. She had a carrier in her car to keep me safe for the drive home, I was a little scared so mummy put her hand inside da carrier (when she didn’t need it to drive) to help keep me calm.
When I gots to my new home I was so happy and loved snuggling with my mummy! I had so much fun exploring my new home, mummy stayed up with me for da first few nights as she puts me in my crate to sleep. But I is not happy in there and after a couple of sleepless nights, mummy needed sleep. She gots me some baby nappies, she cut a hole in dem for my tail, cause I isn’t toilet trained yet and I is sleep in with mummy in her bed.
My mummy knew she wanted me for a long time but she wasn’t sure what to name me? She is a big fan of comic book movies and had a cool fishy she called Hawkeye after da Marvel and M.A.S.H. character but she couldn’t decide on a name for me. Then when she met me and saw me she thought why not name me after her daddy! See mummy’s daddy isn’t alive anymore and she wanted to honour him by naming me Wally, his name was Wal. (You can read more about him here.) Mummy often says I is cheeky like her dad so my name matches my personality.
When mummy first took me home I is so little that she couldn’t hear my paws on da floor so didn’t hear me when I is come up behind her so she almost step on me A LOT! She decided to stop dat from happeing she get me a special collar, apparently it was supposed to be for a cat, with a bell so she could hear me coming. I eventually outgrew that collar and my paws grew so mummy can now hear me most of the time when I is follow her around.
I is a bigger pupper now and my paws make noise so I is has a great many collars, harnesses, leads and outfits. I also have lots and lots of toys to play with, mummy often takes noisey toys off me cause she says it’s annoying for her and our neighbours. One of my favourite things to do is nap, especially snuggled with my mummy, and I is just jump on da bed and sleep with my mummy. I is has other beds too I like to nap on during da day when mummy is out.
